9/7/08 - Casmaran Ascension (aka Scooby) is now in work with SueEllen C. Mally of Dog-Pond Farm (Port Jervis, NY). Rosie, as this superb Dressage trainer and coach is affectionately called by friends, has been teaching and training riders and their horses for well over 25 years. She has coached students and their mounts to their own USDA bronze medals and national titles, and has worked with the best from all disciplines in many countries.  She herself has trained with the classical dressage master, Karl Mikolka of the Austrian National Spanish Riding School, American Olympian Lendon Gray, Hungarian O judge Charles DKunfy and American Ellen Miller, long listed Olympic team member and good friend. A USDF Bronze and Silver medalist, Rosie Mally has been a four time All Breeds Awards winner with her Half Arabian gelding, Que Sera. The pair has trained through Grand Prix before Que Sera’s retirement at the age of 22. Currently Rosie Mally has established a new partnership with her 5 year old Friesian stallion, Gideon. In 2007, Gideon’s first competition season, this pair won 4th place in the USA International Friesian Sport Horse Assoc., 16th in the Friesian Horse Assoc. Of North America, top 10 in Region 8 USDF, and Grand Champion Training and First Level in Potomac Valley Dressage competition Ride 4 Life benefit for Breast Cancer. They consistently score in the mid 70’s!!

Rosie Mally

A long time fan and coach of our own D stallion Windcrest Desert Storm, Rosie has 'hand picked' Scooby to be her next prospect. Rosie is thrilled with Scooby and is looking forward to campaigning this daughter of Deserts. Rosie is a huge asset to anyone looking to better the skills of both horse and rider and feels 'form to function' is often overlooked when choosing an Equine to bring along. We are super proud of Rosie's choice of Scooby, and look forward to watching this team in the near future.

9/10 - Scooby has been at Rosie's farm since Sunday. Rosie called me today and asked if I would like to come and watch Scooby at work, and of course I said yes.
When I arrived Rosie said to me "This is the sweetest, most sensitive and willing horse I have ever had the pleasure to work with,
and I've had a lot of horses here in 25 years."
She continued "I've had horses that when I started working with them I wondered, "Where is the horse the owner described? But, Scooby is exactly as you described,
you know your horses well."
What a compliment coming from this professional! Scooby had a wonderful lesson and Rosie was very pleased with her.
